Well it's that time of year again as the Super Bowl airs this Sunday. Even though we have been down this road before, I thought it prudent to go over a few of the ground rules, at least as I see them. First, let me say even us die hard football fans think there is too much pre-game action. We really don't
need to know what the cast of the Jersey Shore predicts as the outcome, do we? Next is the delicate food/ drink ratio. This is a highly guarded secret that I bet you did not know. For every beer consumed we require at least 4 pigs in a blanket or one section of three foot hero (preferably Italian). Tip: There is a time and a place for trying out those gourmet recipes from the Food Network. This would not be one of them.
Provided the above-mentioned ratio is adhered to, we will have no reason to blame the food or drink for the losing ways of our team. You will be surprised (or maybe not) about how we can blame just about anything when our team is down a few points. Lastly, I have heard that in some households there are these anti-Super Bowl parties for people that are not into the hoopla of the game. I would like to point out that this premise is flawed, as without the superbowl there would be no party at all. Did Jersey Shore have a hand in this too? If my teams loses, I’m blaming the anti-parties.

Perfect treat for St. Patty's Day!
