STATE YOUR PRIDE CONTEST
Official Rules
No Purchase Necessary to Participate

  1. Description of the Contest
The Contest is designed to identify the state that has the most "Hybrid Mom Pride," as measured by the number of individual moms that "state their pride" from each state. As more fully described below, U.S. residents may state their pride by declaring themselves "Hybrid Moms" (a "Hybrid Mom Declaration") in their respective states at the contest website, located at http://www.hybridmom.com/state-your-pride (the "Site"). The nomination period begins at 12:01AM (ET) on October 1, 2009 and ends at 11:59PM (ET) on October 31, 2009 ("Contest Period").
  2. Eligibility
Hybrid Mom Declarations may only be made by legal U.S. residents who physically reside in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.
  3. How to "State Your Pride"
Visit the Site and follow the onscreen instructions. You may make a Hybrid Mom Declaration only once. If an individual has made a Hybrid Mom Declaration more than one time, only the first Hybrid Mom Declaration will count. Information you provide to Sponsor as part of the Hybrid Mom Declaration or elsewhere on the Site is subject to Hybrid Mom's Privacy Policy.
  4. Winner Determination
At the conclusion of the Contest Period, the Sponsor will calculate the number of unique Hybrid Mom Declarations from each state. (Duplicate Hybrid Mom Declarations will be eliminated). The number of valid Hybrid Mom Declarations will be compared to percentage of females 18 years of age and older who reside in the applicable state. The state with the highest ratio of nominations to the total population of females in that state 18 years of age and older will be deemed the winning state. The winning state will be determined and announced at the Site on or about November 2, 2009. Decisions of the Sponsor are final.
  5. Prize
Sponsor will host a social event (the "Event") for the winning state in the geographic area in such state determined to have the most Hybrid Mom Declarations. All residents of the winning state who submitted a valid Hybrid Mom Declaration will be invited to attend the Event; provided, however, if more than 10,000 valid Hybrid Mom Declarations are received for any particular state, Sponsor reserves the right to limit attendance to the event to the first 10,000 residents of such state who submitted a valid Hybrid Mom Declaration. Sponsor will provide the venue for the event, food, and beverages. Attendees will be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred in connection with their attendance at such event, including, without limitation, travel expenses to and from the event.
  6. Entry Errors
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected Hybrid Mom declarations. Sponsor is not responsible if online service or equipment is interrupted including without limitation (1) interruptions to any network, server, Internet, Web site, telephone, satellite, computer or other connections, (2) failures of any telephone, satellite, hardware, software or other equipment, (3) garbled, misdirected or jumbled transmissions, or traffic congestion, or (4) other errors of any kind, whether human, technical, mechanical or electric, or (5) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture any such information. If for any reason, the Contest cannot be conducted in a manner contemplated by these Official Rules, Sponsor may modify or terminate the Contest and award (a) prize(s) based on the number of valid nominations submitted prior to the date of termination.
  7. Disputes/Choice of Law
Except where prohibited, each nominee and nominator agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by state or federal courts situated in the state of New York, (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys' fees, (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation, lost profits, may be awarded (collectively, "Special Damages"), and (4) entrant hereby waives all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased. California law, without reference to choice of law rules, governs the Contest and all aspects related thereto.
